Marie and François de Limburg Stirum are brother and sister. Marie founded the Art dealership Stirum seven years ago, and François joined the business three years ago, opening the Belgian branch. Today, Stirum has established itself as a reference point for collectors and specialists in Old Master paintings.

Marie has been active in the Art world for over fifteen years. She holds a solid background in Art history and has worked for some of the world’s leading galleries, including Moretti Fine Art and Colnaghi. Living between London and Rome, she oversees sourcing throughout Europe, with a particular focus on Flemish and Italian paintings.

Together, Marie and François form a complementary duo, combining rigorous scholarship and market expertise. Beyond their role as Art dealers, the team at Stirum is dedicated to research and to fostering a deeper understanding of Flemish Art history in particular.
